2.3.2.2.2 Navigation pane default position
By default, the Navigation pane is on the right-hand side of the window. Specify a default position for the
Navigation pane with the User Settings | General Settings | Surveyor Docking Position setting.
2.3.2.3 Surveyor
The Surveyor tab contains a hierarchical overview of all views, services and elements in the NetVue
System.
The Surveyor uses a tree hierarchical view of items. Double-click an item in the tree to open a Card view
showing more detail for that item.
2.3.2.3.1 Recent list
The Surveyor tab has a Recent list. Use the list to see recently viewed items.
Click Start | Recent to go to the Recent list.
2.3.2.3.1.1 Pin an item to the Recent list
Hold the mouse cursor over a listed item until a small pin appears to the right of that item. Click the pin to
add the item to the top section of the list. The item stays in place until you unpin it.
2.3.2.3.2 Apps
Click Start | Apps to see the list of installed add-on modules called “apps”. Double-click an app to open it.
2.3.2.3.3 Workspaces
Workspaces are Cube screen layouts that you create. If you open the same set of cards frequently, you
can save them in a Workspace. When you want to open that set of cards, load the Workspace and those
cards will open automatically.
2.3.2.3.3.1 Save a Workspace
Click Save | Workspace to create a new Workspace containing all of the open cards.
