A fully redundant CDD-880 consists of these devices:
• Primary CDD-880(s)
• Backup CDD-880(s)
• Server Technology Power Control Module
A Server Technology Power Distribution Unit (PDU) controls the power on both the primary and backup
devices. The PDU sends the IF of the respective inputs to the applicable redundancy group.
IMPORTANT: A redundancy group can have inputs that cover the spectrum.
However, CDD-880s that do not support the same spectrum (IF input) cannot back up
another CDD-880.
