3. Copy all the files in the SLDMADB directory on the original server to the SLDMADB directory on the
destination server.
• Depending on the MySQL version, find the SLDMADB directory in one of these locations:
C:/MySQL/Data/
- Or -
C:/Program Files/MySQL/MySQL Server X.X/data
4. After all of the files are copied to the destination server, start the MySQL service on both servers.
10.2.2.5 Start the restored NetVue Agent and add it to the NetVue Cluster
After you restore a NetVue Server, start it and add it to the NetVue Cluster.
10.2.2.5.1 Start the NetVue Server
1. Shut down the original server or disconnect it from the network.
2. If necessary, change the IP address and the computer name of the new server.
You can use the same IP address and/or computer name as the original server. However, this is not
required by the NetVue software.
3. Connect the new server to the network.
4. Make sure that the DataMiner Cluster.xml file has been deleted from the C:/Skyline DataMiner/ directory.
5. Start the NetVue software.
10.2.2.5.2 Start the DataMiner Service
1. Access the System Tray.
2. Find the DataMiner Icon.
3. Right-click the DataMiner Icon and select Start DataMiner.
4. When prompted, enter the user name Administrator and any message to start the service.
