User-supplied 24 VDC power supply must incorporate overload protection to limit peak
power to less than 300 W, or 8 A in-line fuse protection must be added to the 24 V power
source.
NOTE: Fuse information is located on the MB-60R/eMB-60R electronics.
The power requirements for the user-supplied power supply will vary depending on the con-
figuration of the robot and connected devices. Adept recommends a 24 V, 6 A power supply to
allow for startup current draw and load from connected user devices, such as digital I/O loads.
CAUTION: Make sure you select a 24 VDC power
supply that meets the specifications in the preceding
table. Using an underrated supply can cause system prob-
lems and prevent your equipment from operating cor-
rectly. See the following table for recommended power
supplies.
