13.3.4 Modifying an existing Access Control file
When opening the 'File' dialog on the Access Control page, you can activate
the settings of a key card by loading the Access Control file on the data
card.
Select 'Data card' for storage, move the cursor to the 'Name' entry field and
press the space bar.

13.3.5 Monitoring a key card
A key card can be used as a 'key' to open the dialog pages of the 796 Titro-
processor. After signing on, the key card may be removed from the card
slot.
The monitoring function enables an operating mode, which requires a key
card constantly inserted. Removing the key card will result in an automatic
sign-off, which forces a new sign-on request. The access to the 796 Titro-
processor's functions will be locked, until another key card is inserted.
In order to ensure finishing the running determinations, the presence of a
key card is checked
after the end of a single determination or a sample
series (with
'auto start on'
).
The monitoring function can be initialized on the configuration page of the
796 Titroprocessor, see below.
