5.2.2 Update commands
With the update commands you can read the following:
ć the actual positions of the axis and
ć the field bus outputs Q10.0 ... Q13.15
(only in Start/Stop mode).
Aktivate An update command is activated by:
Response type (RT) > 0 (in the Command Message).
This remains active until RT is set to 0.
Several axes Only one axis can be scanned per transmission cycle. If the
actual positions of all four axes are to be scanned, the axes
must be scanned individually one after the other.
Combinations The update commands can be combined as desired with the
control commands in a message.
Interruption Note that the continuous transmission of the actual positions
or field bus outputs will be interrupted during the processing
of a parameter command (i.e. providing the LOAD DATA handĆ
shake is still active, see 5.2.3).
Please note
Data transmission in the format float 32 (IEEE 754) is
intended only for controllers of type SLC 5.
