2. From the VLAN Menu, type 5 to select Configure VLANs. The

Configure VLANs menu in Figure 37 is displayed.

3. From the Configure VLANs menu, type 1 to select Create VLAN.

The Create VLAN menu in Figure 38 is displayed.

4. Type 1 to select VLAN Name and enter a name for the new VLAN. The

VLAN name can be from one to fifteen characters in length. The name
should reflect the function of the nodes that will be a part of the VLAN
(for example, Sales or Accounting). The name can contain spaces, but
not special characters, such as asterisks (*) or exclamation points (!).
