Configuring the TCP/IP Settings
If you are using a DHCP server to automatically assign an IP address to
the access point, go to Configuring the Access Point as a DHCP Client
on page 56. If you are not using a DHCP server, you need to manually
assign some TCP/IP parameters.
Note
You should have already configured an IP address for the access
point. For help, see Configuring the Access Point (Setting the IP
Address) on page 35.
To configure the TCP/IP settings
1. From the Main Menu, select TCP/IP Settings. The TCP/IP Settings
screen appears.
2. Configure the TCP/IP settings. The TCP/IP settings are described
below:
IP Address
Enter the IP address of the access point. The IP address has the
form x.x.x.x, where x is a number from 0 to 255.
