10.6.2 Recording Rules Page: How It Works
You can think of the Recording Rules page as a workspace for creating recording rules
(rules that determine how the analyzer records traces). Recording rules are combinations
of events and actions. For how the Recording Rules page works, see “Recording Rules
Page: How It Works” on page 250.
Note: Recording Rules for USB 3.0 currently do not support more than two independent
states.
10.6.3 Creating Event Buttons
To create a rule, first create one or more Event buttons. As you create Event buttons, they
appear in the Available Events area. You then can drag-and-drop them into the Main
Display area.
