IFU (INTERPRESS FONT UTILITY) MESSAGES
IF9004 **- NO SUCH FILE -**
The file being accessed does not exist.
Action None.
IF9005 **- FATAL HARDWARE ERROR -**
A fatal and unrecoverable hardware error has occurred during the
operation. For example, a bad block detected on the medium is
being used.
Action Contact your systems specialist or Xerox Customer Service.
IF9006 **- FATAL DEVICE ERROR -**
A serious error has occurred on the medium.
Action 1. Select the abort option when the display prompts you to
choose retry, ignore, or abort.
2. Contact your systems specialist or Xerox Customer Service.
IF9007 **- TAPE UNIT IS offline-**
The magnetic or cartridge tape is not online.
Action 1. Place the magnetic medium in the online operating mode.
2. Retry the job.
IF9099 Device error x
An input/output operation on the medium failed.
Action Refer to the error message appearing on the system controller
keyboard display and take appropriate action.
IF9101 Read error on IPFNTS.SYS
The system is unable to read font files and mappings from the
IPFNTS.SYS file. (Same as IF9103.)
Action Create a new IPFNTS.SYS file by executing the IPFNTS command.
IF9102 Write error on IPFNTS.SYS
The system is unable to write data from an external media to the
IPFNTS.SYS file. (Same as IF9105.)
Action Create a new IPFNTS.SYS file by executing the IPFNTS command.
IF9103 Read error on IPFNTS.SYS
The system is having a problem reading font files and mappings
from the IPFNTS.SYS file. (Same as IF9101.)
Action Create a new IPFNTS.SYS file by executing the IPFNTS command.
