OSS (OPERATING SYSTEM SOFTWARE) MESSAGES
OS7950 Unable to open print file... Enter “RESET” then REA.
The print file on the system disk was left in such state that it
cannot be opened. The job will not print.
Action 1. Enter the RESET command.
2. Enter the REALLOCATE command and follow directions on
the display. (Refer to your 4635 LPS Operations Reference
chapter on setting LPS parameters for additional information.)
3. Restart the job.
OS7970 Feed stock not in stockset.
The JDE/JDL FEED option calls out a stock that is not in the
current stockset.
Action None.
OS7971 Feed stock specified, but no stockset in effect.
A feed stock has been specified that is not contained in the
current stockset.
Action Restate your cluster command to include that feed stock. (Refer
to the chapter on feeder trays in your 4635 LPS Operator Guide.
OS Level 8: Probable severe software error
Warns of probable severe software errors.
OS8010 Input found nothing to print.
The file just processed by input has generated no printed output.
The File is a null file (consisting of only a name), or the JDE used
to process the file was incorrect.
Action Enter the correct JDE and restart the job.
or
Recreate the job.
