OSS (OPERATING SYSTEM SOFTWARE) MESSAGES
OS1554 Insufficient file space for accounting
The ACCOUNT ADD, department command was entered. The
system cannot add the department name because all available
entries have been used.
Action Enter the CSF ACCOUNTING command to delete the existing
account file and create one with 2000 entries. (Refer to your
4635 LPS Operations Reference chapter on tracking system
activity for additional information.)
OS1555 File spacing stopped by end of volume job truncated by
recovery...Check output
The SPACE n FILES command was entered. The system cannot
move forward over text because the End-of-Volume (EOV) tape
label was encountered.
Action None.
OS1556 Disk Full—Input waiting for Output to complete
or
No space for file x.IMG. Input waiting to purge
The system disk has become saturated while copying a file sent
from the host. Input is waiting for the previous report to be
printed to free up more system disk space before creating a
current file.
Action None.
OS1557 Creating file x.IMG.
The file indicated has been sent from the host and is being
created on the system disk.
or
FILE %0 %1 CREATED
This file has just been created on the system disk. No action
necessary.
Action None.
OS1558 File ‘nn.nn’ replaceddata loss...enter ‘Continue’ or ‘Abort’
The file indicated has been replaced on the system disk by a file
with the same name that was sent from the host. (This message
appears if file being sent is in the Xerox label format.)
Action None.
OS1559 File ‘nn.nn’ Deleted
The file indicated has been deleted from the system disk to
create space for file of same name being sent from the host.
(This message appears if the file being sent is in the card-image
format.)
Action None.
