Important
❒ When about one hour passes after
power of the machine is turned off,
all fax messages stored in memory
will be lost. If any messages have
been lost for this reason, a Power
Failure Report is automatically
printed when the operation switch
is turned on. Use this report to
identify lost messages.
❒ The machine may not be able to re-
ceive large numbers of messages
or messages with high data con-
tent. In such cases, we recommend
you switch off the above functions
or install the optional expansion
memory.
Limitation
❒ The machine may not be able to re-
ceive fax messages when free
memory space is low.
Note
❒ If the free memory space reaches
0% during Memory Reception, the
machine can no longer receive the
current fax message and stops
communicating.
❒ If you have selected Store for Re-
ception File Setting, received mes-
sages will be saved on the hard
disk and will not be printed. You
can print those messages by oper-
ating the machine or a connected
computer, as necessary. See p.193
“Storing or Printing Received Doc-
uments”.
