Changing another users password Only the admin user can change
another user’s password, and then only if the admin user is a member of
the other user’s first group (the group that is listed first for the user with the
/cfg/sys/user/edit /groups/list command). Login
passwords are case sensitive and can contain spaces.
Step Action
1 Log on to the Nortel SNAS cluster as the admin user.
login: admin
Password: ( admin user password)
2 Access the User Menu.

passwd - Change own password
list - List all users
del - Delete a user
add - Add a new user
edit - Edit a user
caphrase - Certadmin export passphrase

3 Specify the user name of the user whose password you want to
change.

Name of user to edit: cert_admin
4 Type the password command to initialize the password change.
