8 Remove the four power supply screws from the back of the BCM1000. Refer to Figure 131 .

9 Remove the power supply from the chassis.
Installing a standard power supply
Follow these steps to install a standard power supply.
1 Check to see if the new power supply is an auto-adjust power supply. This means the power
supply does not have voltage switch. Otherwise, set the switch to the same ac voltage as the
power supply you removed.
2 Place the new power supply into the BCM1000.
3 Align the screw holes in the housing with the screw holes in the base unit.
4 Secure the housing with screws.
5 Inside the unit, reconnect the power supply cables.
6 Replace the cover.
7 Restore the unit to operation. For details, refer to “Restarting the system” on page 240 .
