Type: The type of gateway circuit is identified in this field. Selections include:

 Predefined LLC

 Dynamic LLC
 Predefined DLSW

 Dynamic DLSW

 SDLC


PU Status: This field indicates the current status of the PU (Active or Inactive). Note
that only Predefined nodes will display the Inactive status. Dynamic nodes are removed
from the display when they are not connected.

Upstream ID: This field identifies the XCA Subchannel ID of the upstream connection
as assigned in configuration.

Local/VTAM SAP: This field displays both the local SAP that the downstream node is
connecting to on the CNA-8000, and the VTAM SAP that the CNA-8000 is mapping the
local SAP to. The SAP number used by VTAM is in the XCA definition on the host.

DSPU MAC/SAP: The MAC Address and SAP value used by the downstream PU
platform will be listed in this field.

Active Sessions: This field will identify the number of active LU sessions (as
determined by BINDs and UNBINDs passing through) associated with this downstream
PU node.

Action: This field contains a [Vary Inactive] button that currently does not do anything
on the CNA-8000.


Button Definitions

Return: This button returns you to the previous panel which displays the Ethernet
Status.

Vary Inactive: Pressing this button will cause the downstream node to be disconnected.
It is up to the downstream node to attempt to reconnect.

Trace: Pressing this button displays a trace of the communications associated with the
PU.
