LU Type: This field describes the LU type whenever the client is Bound into an
application. Valid values are:

 Not Bound – The LU has not been activated by VTAM so the LU type is

unknown

 0 – typically a PC program interface
 1 – SCS Printer

 2 – 3270 Display

 3 – 3270 (DSC) Printer
 6 – typically a PC program interface


IP Address: This is the IP address of the TN3270 client that is currently attached.

TN Port: The value listed in this field is the number of the listening port that the client
connected to.

Action: This field should contain a [Disconnect] button for every LU that has a live
connection, otherwise a value of N/A is displayed.


Button Definitions

Return: The [Return] button takes you back to the Host Circuit Status panel.

Disconnect: The [Disconnect] button will force a client to disconnect from the CNA-
8000 and free up the resource. If the user was in session with an application, an LUSTAT
frame is sent to the host application to inform it that the LU has disconnected. A Power
Off Notify is sent to VTAM to advise VTAM of the disconnection. Clients that are
configured to automatically reconnect may appear on this panel to not have been
disconnected, when they in fact have disconnected and reconnected within the time
interval of the screen refresh.
