Update Software from Visara FTP Site
You can update the CNA-8000 software from the Visara FTP site, if these preconditions
are met:
 The CNA-8000 is connected to a LAN with access to the Internet.
 You have a valid IP address configured in the Network Configuration for a DNS
server
 Any firewall that is in place permits FTP operations to occur. (FTP requires port
21 to be enabled.)
To initiate the update, press the ‘From Visara’ button. If the CNA-8000 is unable to
establish a connection to the Visara FTP site, a message screen will appear as shown
below.
If the connection is made, the CNA-8000 will download a list of the software versions
available on the FTP site. If newer versions of software are found, select the version that
you wish to download. When you press the [Install] button, the download and install
process will begin. When finished, your platform will reboot.
