Circuit Status: This field describes whether the PU associated with this Host Circuit has
been activated by VTAM and should also correspond to the displayed color of the Host
Circuit, with Green matched to an Active status and Red matched to an Inactive status.
Channel Status: This field is more closely related to the status of the XCA circuit that
the Host Circuit is assigned to.
Action: A [Trace] button is available for each Host Circuit that will allow you to display
a trace of the Host Circuit data traffic when pressed. A [Reset] button is also available to
force a line reset.
Button Descriptions
Return: Pressing this button will return you to the main status panel from which you
entered the Host Circuit status panel from.
Trace: Pressing the [Trace] button results in a display of the SNA data traffic associated
with the Host Circuit it is associated with.
Reset: The [Reset] button may be used to force a Host Circuit down (deactivate a PU) so
that the line can be brought back up in a reset state.
