Transmission and reception mode for audio and video can
be dispiayed in the communication status. Confirm that the
relevant modes are set appropriately.
1. Open the 680 MODE DISP menu.

2. Press the ESC button to return the window to the previ­
ous one.
690 INITIALIZE (In Standby Only)
INITIALIZE is to clear stored DIRECTORY or to return the
setup parameters to the default settings.
Warning;
The following are irrevocable procedures. We strongly rec­
ommend that you take notes necessary data before imple­
menting the INITIALIZE.
1. Open the 690 INITIALIZE menu.

2. Move the cursor to SYSTEM or DIRECTORY, then press
the ENTER. The selected menu appears.
SYSTEM: All setups are reset to the default settings,
except the directory for quick dial.
DIRECTORY: Only the directory for dialing is reset.
3. When SYSTEM is selected, a message “(Do you want
to) INITIALIZE SYSTEM CONFIG?" appears.

NO: No initializing, the menu goes back to 690 INITIAL­
IZE.
4. When DIRECTORY is selected, a message "(Do you
want to) CLEAR DIRECTORY REGI.?’’ appears.
