IC anion precolumn SUPERSEP
The 6.1009.010 IC Anion Precolumn SUPERSEP has two connections
for PEEK capillaries and is installed as follows:
1 Connect precolumn
x Remove end caps from the precolumn.
x Fit PEEK compression fitting 46

x Screw precolumn to column connection capillary 20

x Cut a piece from the 6.1831.010 PEEK capillary as short as
possible and fit with PEEK compression fittings 46

x Fasten the prepared capillary to the other end of the precol-
umn.
2 Rinse precolumn
x Place a beaker beneath the outlet capillary of the precolumn.
x Open software window for manual system control.
x If necessary, modify

to the value suited for the
inserted separating column and click on

send this value to the 792 Basic IC.
x Switch on high-pressure pump (
IC pump
) by clicking

rinse precolumn with eluent for ca. 10 min.
