4.1 Overview/procedure for commissioning
This chapter provides an overview for commissioning
the positioning system with the CMAX using the Festo
Configuration Tool with the CMAX plug−in.
Information about the configuration of the CMAX with specific
CPX nodes, as well as the description for commissioning via
the CPX node, can be found in the CMAX communication

Note
Incorrectly set parameters can damage the fixed stops and
the drive.
Be very careful when setting the parameters.
Note
It is recommended to configure the CMAX and to put it into
operation with the respectively newest FCT CMAX plug−in.
Only the newest FCT plug−in offers you the most extensive
support and the use of all CMAX features.
