R ESTART AT S PECIFIED D ATE AND T IME
Lets you specify a date and time to automatically restart the updated mod-
ule. (When you select this option, a new field called
R ESTART D ATE AND
T IME displays below the current field.)
R ESTART D ATE AND T IME
Write security: 1; Read security: 5
Defines the date and time to restart the sys-
tem. Enter the time using a 24-hour format
(i.e., 23:25:30 for 11
PM , 25 minutes, 30 seconds). Enter the date in mm-
dd-yyyy format (i.e., 11-08-1999).
C URRENT
U PDATE S TATUS
Read security: 5
Indicates progress or problems encountered during the current update pro-
cess. The field displays
I DLE if no update is in progress or when the update
is successfully completed. At the end of a successful update, the contents of
this field are copied into
P REVIOUS U PDATE S TATUS .
If you are updating several modules at the same time (if M ODULE S LOT is set
to A LL M ODULES OF A T YPE ), this option displays [+] , indicating this field con-
tains submenu items. The following submenus display:
During the TFTP upload process, various status messages are provided in
C URRENT U PDATE S TATUS (see Table 12-1 on page 12-5).
P REVIOUS
U PDATE S TATUS
Read security: 5
Displays the status of the previous update, after selecting a module slot. If a
firmware update has not been attempted for a particular slot, this field
reads
Has not been attempted. Following a successful update, the field reads
Module Update Complete. If an update was unsuccessful, the appropriate
error message displays.
R ESTART AT S PECIFIED D ATE AND T IME is only available for the
System Controller— not for modules residing in expansion slots,
since they are unable to maintain normal operation during the
update process.
S LT Indicates the slot number.
T YPE Defines the type of module for each slot.
C URRENT
S TATUS
Indicates the status of the current update.
P REVIOUS
S TATUS
Indicates the status of the previous update.
P REVIOUS T IME Indicates the time of the previous update.
