P KT V OICE The ATLAS 550 provides the same level of capability for packet-switched
voice as originally provided for circuit-switched voice.
I FCE C ONFIGURATION (under D IAL P LAN > U SER T ERM or N ETWORK T ERM ) sets
configuration parameters for the endpoint. These parameters vary by the
type of port selected. The following section describes the configuration op-
tions available for packet-switched voice (see Figure 11-11).
The first step in configuring the D IAL P LAN for packet voice is to select
N ETWORK T ERM or U SER T ERM . Refer to Connecting Packet Endpoints in Frame
Relay on page 11-28 for determining whether to use N ETWORK T ERM or U SER
T ERM . (See also Menus for Network Termination on page 11-33 and Menus for
User Termination on page 11-34.) Once this selection is made, a number of
fields become available. These fields are discussed in the following sections.
