L ABEL Write security: 0; Read security: 5
Defines a user name.
P ASSWORD Write security: 0; Read security: 5
Allows you to change the password (the default password is
password ).
The current password displays as a series of asterisks (********). The pass-
word can contain up to 12 alphanumeric characters. You can also use spaces
and special characters in the password. Remember, passwords are case-sen-
sitive.
Instructions for Changing Passwords
1. Select the P ASSWORD field—a new P ASSWORD field displays.
2. Type the new password in the E NTER field.
3. Type the new password again in the C ONFIRM field.
A CCESS R IGHTS Write security: 0; Read security: 5
Defines the password level for the corresponding label. You can select from
six different password levels (see also Table 6-1 on page 6-2).
A CTIVE Write security: 0; Read security: 5
Displays the number of users for each label that are currently logged into
the system.
L ICENSES Write security: 0; Read security: 0
Provides menus to enable the optional ATLAS 550 feature upgrades.
F EATURE Names the ATLAS 550 feature upgrade.
L ICENSE K EY Displays the license key of the feature upgrade.
S ERIAL N UMBER Displays the serial number of the feature upgrade.
L IC CNT Displays the number of instances of the feature that the license provides.
This field may not be applicable for a given feature—if it is not, this field is
blank.
If you lose or forget the ATLAS 550 system administrator password,
contact ADTRAN technical support (see last page of this manual)
for help in resetting the password.
