Allows you to change the password (the default password is

The current password displays as a series of asterisks (********). The pass-
word can contain up to 12 alphanumeric characters. You can also use spaces
and special characters in the password. Remember, passwords are case-sen-
sitive.

Instructions for Changing Passwords

This field may not be applicable for a given feature—if it is not, this field is

If you lose or forget the ATLAS 550 system administrator password,
contact ADTRAN technical support (see last page of this manual)
for help in resetting the password.
