Displays the slot you select for firmware updating.
When this option first appears,
None Selected dis-
plays. When you move the cursor to this field and
press
Enter , a dialog box opens, allowing you to
select S LOT 0 through S LOT 4 , R ESOURCE 1
through 4 or A LL M ODULES OF A T YPE .
A LL M ODULES OF A T YPE is useful if several identical modules are installed
in the ATLAS 550.
M ODULE T YPE Write security: 1; Read security: 5
Reflects the module type selected in
M ODULE S LOT . This is normally a read-
only field; however, if you selected A LL M ODULES OF A T YPE , you must
select a particular module type to update all modules of that type. The
selections only include upgradable modules.
T RANSFER
M ETHOD
Write security: 1; Read security: 5
Lists the two transfer methods for updating firmware: XMODEM and TFTP,
after selecting a module slot. XMODEM transfers files by connecting to a
communications program that supports XMODEM uploads to the terminal
interface. TFTP transfers files by specifying an appropriate server address
and filename:

Configures the IP address of the TFTP Server on which the update file
resides. ATLAS 550 uses this field to locate the network server on which the
update file resides.
TFTP S ERVER F ILENAME
Write security: 1; Read security: 5
Identifies the name of the update file to retrieve from the TFTP Server. Enter
the full path name and filename for the file.
R ESTART
S CHEDULE
Write security: 1; Read security: 5
Indicates when to restart the updated module to invoke the new code, after
selecting a module slot. The two options include
R ESTART I MMEDIATELY
A FTER U PDATE and R ESTART AT S PECIFIED D ATE AND T IME .
R ESTART I MMEDIATELY A FTER U PDATE
Automatically restarts the module immediately after the update is com-
plete.
The available update options vary depending on whether you
select
S LOT 0 , S LOTS 1 through 4 , R ESOURCE 1 through 4 or
A LL M ODULES OF A T YPE .
