The VLAN-MSTI Association menu is shown in Figure 198.

The VLAN-MSTI Association menu displays a table that contains the
following columns of information:
MSTI / CIST
Lists the CIST and current MSTI IDs on the switch.
Associated VLANs
Specifies the VIDs of the VLANs associated with the CIST and MSTI
IDs. For instance, referring to Figure 198, the VLANs with the VIDs 7
and 22 are assigned to MSTI 7.
Associating a
VLAN to an
MSTI ID
To associate a VLAN to an MSTP ID, perform the following procedure:
1. From the Main Menu, type 3 to select Spanning Tree Configuration.
The Spanning Tree Configuration menu is shown in Figure 178 on
page 535.
2. From the Spanning Tree Configuration menu, type 3 to select
Configure Active Protocol.
The MSTP menu is shown in Figure 195 on page 569.
3. From the MSTP menu, type M to select MSTI menu.
The MSTI menu is shown in Figure 197 on page 574
