The following table describes the components of the Trusted Certificate Authority List Profiles section.

Component
Description
Profile Name
Displays the profiles available on this SKM.
Edit
Click Edit to change the name of a profile.
Add
Click Add to create a profile. A newly created profile is initially empty. You must add
CAs to the list of Trusted CAs for that profile.
Delete
Click Delete to remove a profile. You cannot delete a profile if it is specified on
the KMS Server Authentication Settings section of the Key Management Services
Configuration page.
Properties
Click Properties to access the Trusted CA List for the profile.
The Default Profile
The Default profile is empty by default. When you import a CA Certificate onto the SKM, it appears in
the master list of CA Certificates, but it is not “trusted” until it is added to a Trusted CA list. The same
is true for local CAs you generate on the SKM. You cannot change the name of the Default profile;
however, you can change the list of Trusted CAs for the Default profile.
Trusted Certificate Authority List
The Trusted Certificate Authority List section, shown here, allows you to view and modify the set of Trusted
CAs for a profile. The Default profile contains no CAs; you must manually add CAs.
