B Using the Management Console
Logging in and out
Use the Administrator Authentication screen to log into the Management Console.

The following table describes the components of the Administrator Authentication page.

Components Description
Username
When logging in for the first time, type the default username admin. Thereafter, type
the name assigned by the system administrator.
Password
Type the password associated with the username. When logging in for the first time,
this is the password created during the firstrun installation.
Log In Click Log In to confirm the login entries and access the Management Console.
Logout of the Management Console at any time using the Log Out link on the upper right corner.

Using the Home tab
The Home tab contains the Summary screen and the Search screen.
Summary screen
The first page you see in the Management Console is the Summary screen, which displays fundamental
information about SKM. The Summary screen contains the following sections:
• System Summary
• Recent Actions
Security Summary
Use this section to view security-related summary information for your SKM.
