Monitoring switches
There is an entry for each switch that contains the IP address of the switch. The following installed
hardware components are included under the tree hierarchy for each switch:
•
Fan: this is the fan within the switch
•
Power supply: there are two power supplies for each switch, each has its own entry
•
Temperature sensors: this is the temperature of the switch
Switch locations
From StoreOnce software version 3.11.0 and later, it is possible to add StoreOnce 6500 couplets
to an HP StoreOnce B6200 Backup system. The couplet is identified as StoreOnce B6200 Plus
within the StoreOnce GUI. (It is not possible to add StoreOnce B6200 couplets to an HP StoreOnce
6500 Backup system.) The switch labelling is slightly different for the two systems, please be aware
of the following.
