Setting BIOS Serial Console Emulation Mode
You can select an emulation mode type. The selected option depends on the emulation you want
to use in your serial terminal program (for example, HyperTerminal or PuTTY). The BIOS emulation
mode must match the selected mode in the terminal program.
To set the BIOS Serial Console Emulation Mode:
1.
From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration
→BIOS/Platform Configuration
(RBSU)
→BIOS Serial Console and EMS and select BIOS Serial Console Emulation Mode and
press Enter.
2. Select one of the following options:
•
VT100 (default)
•
ANSI
•
VT100+
3. Press F10 to save your selection.
