Before creating a pool, you need a THP V-VOL management area in shared memory. When
shared memory is added, the THP V-VOL management area is automatically created. For
adding shared memory, contact your HP representative.

In RAID Manager, when creating a pool, you cannot enable Smart Pool and cannot register
multiple media as pool-VOLs. Before making tiers, enable Smart Pool.
