How to mount medium diameter sensor to pipe

transmitting side of the sensor. Care should be
taken to prevent entry of air bubbles.
Clean the surface of the pipe, then mount the
sensor.

Press the sensor against the pipe. Align the
center of the sensor with the intersection of the
marking line, and the mounting dimension
reference surface with the marking line.

Make sure that the center mark on the sensor is
aligned with the marking line. Then, connect the
coaxial cable to the transmitter.

Prepare a sheet of paper (vinyl sheet) of 4 D or
more in length and 200 mm or longer in width (D
is preferable) as shown below.

Draw a line intersecting at right angles with the
longest sides about 100 mm from one paper end.

Note) Do not pull the coaxial cable. If it is
pulled, the sensor is shifted which
results in incorrect measurements due to
poor contact with the pipe.
