installed in Class II and Class III environments.

National Electrical Code® (ANSI/NFPA 70)

Field Wiring Apparatus must be FM Approved.
*4: Associated Nonincendive Field Wiring
Apparatus manufacturer’s installation
drawing must be followed when installing this
equipment.
*5: No revision to drawing without prior FM
Approvals.
*6: Terminator and supply unit must be FM
Approved.
*7: If use ordinary wirings, the general purpose
equipment must have nonincendive field wiring
terminal approved by FM Approvals.
*8: The nonincendive field wiring circuit concept
allows interconection of nonincendive field

field wiring apparatus, using any of the wiring
methods permitted for unclassified locations.
