Configuration
Description
Set the ATM address prefix of an ATM network. The prefix is a 13
byte (26 hex digit) number.
Example Prefix: 39.01.02.03.04.05.06.07.08.09.10.11.12 (Note:
periods have been inserted for readability. Do not use periods when
entering the ATM Prefix.)
* Note: You must disable a network each time you make a
change to the configuration. After you make
configuration changes, you must enable the network in
order for the changes to take effect.

This example sets the ATM address prefix.
ATM(configure)# set network disable
Network has been disabled

Definition
atm-prefix
Sets the prefix portion of the uplink’s ATM
address.
Note:
The prefix must be a 13-byte number.
The first byte must be a valid Authority
and Format Identifier (AFIs 0x39, 0x47,
and 0x45) for Network Service Access
Point (NSAP) addressing as defined by
the UNI (User-to-Network Interface)
signaling specification.
