Configuration

Description

Create a Virtual Switched Port. Use the no form of this command to
delete a Virtual Switched Port.

Syntax

vsport [packet-rep {yes | no}] []

no vsport

Sample Output

The following example creates then deletes a Replicating Virtual
Switched Port named TestVSP with VSP ID 10.

ATM(configure)# vsport TestVSP packet-rep yes 10

ATM(configure)# no vsport 10

Name

Definition

vsportName

The name of the VSP. (1 to 32 characters)

packet-rep

(Optional) Identifies the port as replicating,
when combined with the “yes” option and
non-replicating when combined with the “no”
option.

The Default value is Yes.

vsportId

(Optional) The Virtual Switch Port Identifier.
Possible values range from 1 - 128. If omitted,
the ATM Uplink module will assign the next
lowest available number.
