copy running-config startup-config
Command Mode
Configuration or Enable
Description
Copy the running configuration to the startup configuration. This
effectively records all of the configuration changes you have made
to the switch so the next time the switch resets, you have the most
recent configuration.
Syntax
copy running-config startup-config
Sample Output
This example copies the running configuration to the startup
configuration.
ATM-3(configure)# copy running-config
startup-config
Wrote running-config to '/nvram/startup.txt'
ATM-3(configure)#
