The IPEdit main window includes three main panes highlighted in the screenshot

The Player and Timeline panes need to be activated before editors can work on
them. To activate the Player or the Timeline, click anywhere inside the pane. The
active pane is surrounded by a white frame.

Depending on whether the open IPEdit window is active or not, the background
colour of the window title bar, as well as the window frame border, will be
different:
• orange when the window is active
• black when another window is active.
