If the resource being added is an image, the only segments that can be dropped in an image created from a physical L-Server
are control segments.

If the resource being added is a disk, the only existing disks that can be dropped are the following:

-

An image created from a physical L-Server

-

An image whose L-Server template VM type is RHEL-KVM

-

If the resource being added is a disk, it is not possible to drag-and-drop a new disk to an image whose L-Server template VM
type is RHEL-KVM.

-

If the resource being added is a disk, it is not possible to drag-and-drop a new disk or an existing disk to an image whose L-
Server template VM type is Solaris Zones.

-

Disks cannot be added or deleted from cloning images that include data disks.

Select the added resource, and then edit the resource.

To delete the resource, click the Delete button displayed in the resource details display area (lower part of the page).

To add an NIC to an image, select the image in the configuration display area (upper part of the page) and click the Add NIC button
displayed in the resource details display area (lower part of the page).
To delete an NIC from an image, select an NIC in the configuration display area (upper part of the page) and click the Delete NIC
button displayed in the resource details display area (lower part of the page).

To group physical server NICs, select the image or NIC of the physical server in the configuration display area (upper part of the

page), and then click the Create NIC Group button displayed in the resource details display area (lower part of the page). To

ungroup NICs, select the NICs grouped in the configuration display area (upper part of the page), and then click the Delete NIC

Group button displayed in the resource details display area (lower part of the page).

7.

Click the Next button.

The Confirm page is displayed.

Information

While the image is selected, the NIC ID for that image will be displayed.

Point

If an input item contains an error, and error message is displayed. If an error message is displayed, refer to the error message and
correct the setting.

Virtual or physical image information is added to the template information when an NIC is allocated.
