4.18 LDM Volume Discovery and Flushing for Windows
Windows systems support the Logical Disk Manager (LDM) (such as VxVM), and a logical drive
letter is typically associated with an LDM volume (“\Device\HarddiskVolumeX”). Therefore,
the user will not be able to know the relationship between LDM volumes and the physical
volumes of the RAID storage system. The user makes the CCI configuration file, and then
needs to know the relationship that is illustrated in Figure 4.76.
