Routes the proper video to the DVE (None, DVE1, DVE2 or MPR = internal Mon-
tage Processor)
The DVE effect can also be moved using the Fader or AUTO with the MiscFunc-
tion facility (to be found in the M/E menu). The DD35 production switcher has – like
most other switchers – visible image components (BGD-A, BGD-B, Key1, Key2,
(Key 3) ). Additionally, the DD35 has invisible image components for flexible con-
trol purposes. These are called Misc 1 and Misc 2, and treated logically as if they
were Key components i.e. can be mixed in and out, value is between 0% and 100%.
They can also be selected for Next Transition. The speciality of these components
is: for each of these components, the user can select a function – the MiscFunc-
tion – that is controlled by the component.
Press the associated function button to define the DVE as the function to be con-
trolled dy the invisible components Misc1 or Misc2 (see function buttons below).
