It is possible to interlock the preset memory number change in the system where the M-864D and DP-SP3 units
are used in combination or multiple M-864D units are used.
Within the system, one link source unit is regarded as a master unit, and other units are regarded as slave units.
Perform preset link setting only to every slave unit.
With a setting like this, the Preset memory numbers set to the master and slave units can be simultaneously
switched to the same memory number through the preset memory switching operation at any unit.
tip: Though the M-864D or DP-SP3 can become a master unit, it is recommended to designate the unit to
which you perform preset memory switching operation most frequently as the master.
Notes
• The maximum number of the master and slave units which can be included in the system is 5 in total.
(Up to 4 DP-SP3 units can be included among them.)
• Never perform Preset link setting to the master unit.
If performed, the system will not operate correctly.
(Setting example: A system consisting of an M-864D and 2 DP-SP3 units)
To switch the preset memory by the M-864D’s front key operation, contact input, ZM remote controller, or
external control protocol, designate the M-864D as the master unit and DP-SP3s as the slave ones.
Figure below shows the settings.
