8.9 Fault Relay Information
The VF-SX drive has an Internal fault relay (FL), which Indicates that the drive
has tripped. The possible causes of trips are shown in Table 8-1 of this
chapter. Possible solutions to trips are shown in Chapter 16. Part 7 of this
chapter details the procedure to reset the drive In the event of a trip.
When the protective function operates and the inverter trips the trip cause will
be shown on the LED monitor display. This is a visual confirmation of a trip.
The fault relay provides electrical confirmation and indication of a tripped
condition. The fault detection signal Is output at the (FL) relay contact
points. See Figure 8.2 below.
