TIMING EXAMPLE
When entering a headland, the planter stops planting seed 54” prior to first
row of headland. In this case, increasing the Off time will correct and
decrease the gap.
Travel speed of 5 mph entering a headland equals travel speed of 8.7”/.10
seconds. If the Off time is set to 0.0, changing to 0.6 corrects the gap to 0”.
54”/8.7” per .10 second = .62
On time must be greater than or equal to off time.
Timing range 0.1 to 5.0 seconds.
SWITCH BOX SETUP
Switch Box Setup defines how the virtual switch box on the main guidance
screen is used to control sections.
1. At the System menu screen, press the Implement/Section Control/
Section Switch icons.

TYPE
The switch box type setting indicates if controlling sections at the guidance
screen is required.
– None disables the virtual switch icon from appearing on the
guidance screen.
– Virtual displays the virtual switch icon at the top of the guidance
screen to turn sections on and off via the console’s virtual
switchbox.
