To set up an alarm banner
1. Double-click the alarm banner.
2. In the object’s Properties dialog box, fill in the options on each tab:
 In the General tab, specify what the banner looks like at run time and whether the
operator can navigate to the banner using the keys on the keyboard or keypad.
 In the Alarm tab, set up whether to queue alarms, whether to show all alarms or
active alarms only, and which alarms to include in a filtered trigger list.
 In the Common tab, specify the alarm banner’s spacial properties, name, and
visibility.

3. When you are finished, click OK.
Set up alarm status lists
The alarm status list graphic object shows the status of alarms, including how many times
an alarm has been triggered and how long it has been active. For example, the list could
display an alarm that has been triggered five times for a total accumulated time in alarm of
10 minutes.
