Consider the following criteria when using mains chokes:

Mains chokes are always required if all interconnected devices are operated with
rated current and speed.
ƒ
Mains chokes are not required if the power of the entire network is less than 50 % of
the added continuous powers of all interconnected devices (= standard case).
