8.1
Before switching on
Prevent injury to persons and damage to property by checking the following before
switching on the mains voltage.
Check
ƒ
the wiring for completeness.
ƒ
for the absence of short circuits and/or earth faults.
ƒ
for the correct covering of the DC−bus wiring.
ƒ
the "EMERGENCY OFF" function of the entire system.
ƒ
the motor circuit configuration (star/delta). It must be adapted to the output
voltage of the controller.
ƒ
the in−phase connection of the motor (direction of rotation).
ƒ
whether the drive mechanically can be disconnected from the machine for
commissioning.

Incorrect settings can cause unexpected and dangerous movements of the
motor and the equipment.
