Note:
The Java plug-in requires certain services from Windows 95 which are not
present if Internet Explorer is not installed. In order to add these services to the
operating system, install Internet Explorer version 3 or higher. You can then use
either browser to manage the switch.
Running the Embedded Manager
Note:
Assign a PMI (Primary Management Interface) on X330WAN and ensure that a
route is available between the management station and the PMI before beginning this
procedure. For more information on PMIs, refer to the description on page 34.

Open your browser.

Enter the URL of the switch in the format
http://aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd

aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd
is the IP address of the master agent of the P330 stack.
Note:
The default user name is
root
The default password for read-write access is
root
.
Note:
The Web management passwords are the same as those of the CLI. If you
have created additional CLI user names or changed the default passwords, you can
use those passwords for Web management also.
The Welcome page is displayed, as shown in Figure B.1.
