Note: After changing the storage system password using the OCP, it will be necessary
to change the password on any Command View EVA management agents with access
to the storage system.
1. From the OCP menu tree, select System
Password.
Shutdown System
System Password
2. Press
X
to select Change Password.
Change Password
Clear Password
3. Press
T
and go to step 4.
Press
W
to accept NO and return to step 2.
CHANGE PASSWORD?
NO
4. Press
W
to accept YES.
CHANGE PASSWORD?
YES
5. To enter the first character, press
S
or
T
to select the desired character.
Press
X
to accept a character and select
the next password character. The character
display changes to an asterisk.
Enter Password
*AAAAAAA
6. Repeat step 5 for the remaining seven
characters.
Press
W
to accept the password.
Enter Password
********
7. Press
W
to accept YES.
CHANGE PASSWORD?
YES
