View. Display a session's view history and select a previously displayed view.
•
Tools. Configure the replication manager, issue CLUI commands, and run the replication
manager in simulation mode. See

Help. Display the replication manager version, access the online help, and list other available
documentation. See

Navigation pane
The navigation pane alphabetically lists the Data replication resources you can manage, organizing
them by group in the hierarchical tree. Icons identify the state of the resources. (States other than
normal are displayed in the navigation pane. In the tree, the resource group displays the most
critical state of all its resources.)
•
To view a resource in the content pane, click its group or right-click its group, and select View.
•
To display online help for the resource, right-click its group, and select Help.
Behaviors
•
To expand or collapse an item in the tree, click the expand icon.
•
To size the navigation pane, place your cursor over the sizing bar until your cursor changes
to a double-headed arrow, and then click and drag the pane larger or smaller as needed.
Online help
The replication manager online help is a cross-platform, browser-based application that includes
the following types of help:
•
Main help (user guide). The main help is accessed from the Help button on the toolbar.
Information is organized and easily accessed with the use of Contents, Index, and Search
tabs.
•
Context-sensitive help. Context-sensitive help is specific to the window that you are viewing
and is accessed by clicking a question mark icon or help button in the window.
The online help includes the following features:
•
Contents tab. Displays the help contents. The contents are organized into books and topic
pages.
•
Index tab. Displays an index of topics.
•
Search tab. Displays a list of topics containing the words for which you searched.
Status bar
The Status bar located at the bottom of the page, displays an icon indicating the status of the server
connection as well as a graphical indication of server communication activity.
Toolbar
Description Item
View history - back. Changes the content pane to show one view back in the view history.
View history - forward. Changes the content pane to show one view forward in the view history.
